AIPEG undertakes collaborative activities in institutional strengthening and provides technical advice in several areas including:

Under TAMF III there was limited support provided to support the Directorate General of Debt Management (DGDM). This reflected the relatively high level of capacity and competency within this Agency. Thus support provided to DG Debt was limited to a number of specific technical areas where DG Debt felt it lacked sufficient knowledge and skills.

Support for example, has been provided to Directorate of Evaluation, Accounting and Settlement; Directorate of Government Securities; Directorates of Islamic Financing; and Directorate of Debt Strategy and Portfolio. AIPEG will continue to focus on areas specific needs in DGDM, in line with the strategic plan of the Agency.
